I have never been a computer savey person, so hearing that artist can potentially have 1000 true fans who basically fund their projects through the internet is interesting to me. The question that was brought up in class today was "if you could be super famous for a little while but have to do what others wanted you to do would you do it or would you do what you wanted, live comfortably, and have a few loyal fans?"  I think i would continue to live comfortably and I would do so because I would still be doing exactly what I wanted to do and making what I needed to survive. Growing up I always heard that all it takes is one and that is evident if you think about Kellys theory of 1000 true fans. If you added a new fan everyday and that fan got others to become fans you couod reach your goal in no time.  I wonder if bordom isd a factor in Kellys theory because if I was an online artist and got my followimg up to 1000 fans in a year I think at some point I would get bord with it and eventually I would want to see how I could get my name out their to make my following that much larger.
